A little visit as if you were there: |
Upon arrival at the Maison du Coteau, you can park your car in the private lot at the bottom of the garden. You then follow the walkway covered by an archway, and enter the house. You walk alongside the living room on your left, separated by a stained glass panel. On your right are large closets, one for each room.
|
You take four steps down to enter the living room area, where there are comfortable armchairs from which you can watch television, and couches backed up to the three bay windows opening onto the lawn and the flower beds, on which you can relax or read a book chosen from the library.
|
Walk back up the four steps, and you enter the dining room that opens onto a little terrace and into the gardens.
| |
Enter the kitchen: with its breakfast nook next to the sliding glass door that also opens onto a terrace and the gardens, and where you can take your coffee when the weather permits. The shelves above the sink are divided so that each room has its own dishes. The stainless steel stove and oven, with glass top burners, are for the use of all the guests of the house to prepare their own meals as they wish, at the hour that is convenient to them.
| |
In the back, there is the pantry with four refrigerators, one per room, and a freezer with drawers for each guest to store their frozen food. Pass through another doorway, and you are in the laundry room, with a washing machine and dryer, available for use at the cost per combined load of 5 euros, that you can drop into the little can.
